Day 2: Jamie Lannister aka The Kingslayer
When Emily fights, it is always fair and square and on the up and up. For this Game of Thrones impersonation, Emily enlisted the (grudging) assistance of her sparring partner, The Rainbow Snake. To accurately recreate the scene in the Throne Room where Jamie slays The Mad King, Emily/Jamie perched herself/himself high upon the sofa staring out, from a window in the Red Keep looking over the city that the Mad King/The Rainbow Snake wanted to burn. Behind her The Mad King/The Rainbow Snake slinks away after having told her/him not only of his plan to kill everyone in King's Landing, but also giving her/him the command to kill Tywin, her father. Emily/Jamie, after thinking over her/his desperate situation turns and, noticing that the Mad King/The Rainbow Snake's back is turned, leaps and does away with the crazed ruler. As Emily and The Rainbow Snake tussle, if you squint your eyes just a little, the couch and other accouterments of modern life slip away and you will find yourself transported to Westeros; where steel, stone, fire and ice rule.
