Before Sunday's season premier, we had last seen Tyrion in full flight, allowing himself to be locked in a crate so he could escape from the certain death that awaited him in Westeros. Emily, was at first unsure if she could even pull off a Tyrion impersonation. How could she embody all those character complexities? Wouldn't her performance be compared to that of Peter Dinklage? After quite a bit of cajoling, I convinced her to give it a shot and boy did she do great!
For Tyrion, Emily chose to reenact the scene where he emerges from his crate after a long journey from King's Landing to Pentos. Embodying all of the curiosity and cleverness of Tyrion, under the cover of night, Emily pokes her head out of the box/crate and surveys her new life.
